The pledge

Sponsored by Of Timor.

The software is free, forever, for every school in Timor-Leste. Here's exactly what that means — and where the money does and doesn't come from.

A handshake between two Timorese figures — sponsor and school

The promise

No bait-and-switch

There is no free trial that turns into an invoice. The pledge is forever, not for a launch window.

Your data, your school's

Schools own their data and can export it at any time. The sponsorship buys software, not lock-in.

Public, not private

We publish the school count and the modules in use. If a school says we asked them for software money, you can hold us to this page.

Why we do it

Three reasons in one line each

It's our country

The Of Timor group’s customers are Timorese. The next decade of customers is in school right now.

It's the right scale

Software costs the same to build for one school or 400. Sponsorship is more efficient than per-school billing.

It's a fair trade

Our other businesses already benefit from a Timor-Leste with strong schools. This is paying that forward.

Of Timor — at work for the country

The same group behind Stays of Timor, SOTcoin and Of Timor retail. School software is our contribution.
