Roadmap

What we're building next.

An honest, quarter-by-quarter view of what's shipping. We update this page the day a release goes out — and the day a date slips.

Shipping this quarter — Q2 2026

Already in QA, rolling to schools in waves.

  1. 1

    Cafeteria pre-orders

Parents pre-order meals from the Parent app; cafeteria sees the count by 8am.

  2. 2

    Bus pickup push

Live GPS plus a push notification the moment a child boards or alights.

  3. 3

    SOTcoin top-up by SMS

Parents without a smartphone can top up their child’s SOTcoin via SMS.

  4. 4

    Bulk roster import v2

Smarter spreadsheet importer — handles MoE templates and Eskooly exports.

Next

Q3 2026

Designed and scoped. Engineering starts in July.

  1. 1

    National MoE dashboard

Opt-in per school. The Ministry sees aggregated attendance and grade trends — never individual children.

  2. 2

    Exam scheduling v2

Hall plans, invigilator rosters, clash detection across years.

  3. 3

    Library QR scanner

Loan a book by scanning its QR with the Teacher app. Auto-due-date set.

  4. 4

    Parent app: iOS

First TestFlight build of the Parent app for iPhone families.

Q4 2026

Ideas we've committed to but not yet started.

  1. 1

    Boarding-school dorm module

Bed assignments, evening attendance, weekend leave permissions.

  2. 2

    Vocational track grading

Practical-assessment rubrics for EST schools — competence levels, not just numbers.

  3. 3

    Open data exports

CSV and JSON exports of every school’s own records, scheduled or on-demand.

  4. 4

    Parent payments v2

Group fees (whole-class trips, fundraisers) with parent-side approval.

Later

2027 themes

Big bets — directions, not commitments. We'll firm these up as we get closer.

Offline-first everywhere

Today only attendance works offline. We want every Teacher app screen to work without signal and sync later.

Lower-cost printed reports

Help schools print term-end reports in bulk for under $0.10 a page using local print partners.

Headmaster's pocket dashboard

A single screen for the headmaster: today’s attendance, today’s incidents, today’s cash, today’s bus.

Cross-school benchmarks

Opt-in. Compare your school’s attendance trends to other anonymised schools of the same type.

How we decide what ships

Three filters: does it help a Timorese school today, does it stay free for the school, and can our small team maintain it for the next decade.
